5 Stunning Hotel Swimming Pool Views from Around the World:

Blog

Due to being in the business of making one-of-a-kind pools around the world, we have a deep appreciation for beautiful architecture and awe-inspiring pools designs. We understand the technical challenges that go into designing and constructing a custom pool from scratch- there is no “standard” step-by-step guideline. The success of these projects rely on the inventiveness and expertise of the teams involved.

Below you will find a few of our favorite hotels that showcase spectacular views.

1.) Floating Pool, Villa D’Este, Lake Como, Italy:

1italy

This 16th century hotel is home to the famous “floating pool” and captures exhilarating views of cloud-topped mountains and the beautiful Lake Como. The pool sets on a pontoon that floats on the 28-mile lake and is open to all hotel guets during the summer months. If you visit in the colder months, you can still take a dip in the indoor pool in the Sporting Club building that is located on the grounds.

2.) Cliffside Pool, Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc, France:

This unique hotel is nestled into the cliffs along the Cap d’Antibes coast, just outside of beautiful Cannes. The saltwater pool is heated on cooler days and looks out into Cannes Bay where you can gaze at the sailboats and yachts that float in the water. If you’re feeling daring, there is a rope at pool level where you can swing Tarzan-style off the cliffs and into the ocean below.

3.) Atrium Pool, Park Hyatt, Tokyo:

If you remember the film Lost in Translation, you may remember this spectacular blue florescent pool. The atrium pool is 65 ft. long with four lanes and is surrounded by windows that give you the perfect view of the Shinjuku district, the city and Mount Fuji.

4.) Main Pool, Singita Grumeti Sasakwa Lodge, Tanzania:

4-tanz

The great annual migration of antelope, zebra and other animals on the Seregreti Plains is a truly spectacular sight on its own, but can you imagine watching this while swimming in a heated infinity pool? The lawns of this hotel are also lined with telescopes so you can catch a better view of the passing wildlife.

5.) Garden Pool, Pallazzo Avino, Ravello, Italy:

5-italy

The Garden Pool is perched on a 1000 ft. cliff and looks out onto lush mountains, crystal blue waters and the historic fishing villages of the Almafi Coast. There are also windows built into the walls of the pool, so even while swimming underwater, you can soak up the views.
