BEHIND THE SCENES: Swimming Pool Hydrostatic Testing
This elevated swimming pool is almost ready for its new home! It recently underwent hydrostatic testing and passed with flying colors. It will soon be ready for installation a few stories above ground at a private residence in Tennessee.
What is hydrostatic testing?
Water is added to the swimming pool as if it would be ready for use. Once it is completely full, the water is left in there for a minimum of 12 hours to detect any leaks or drips. This allows for any issues to be corrected before the pool is shipped to its destination or installation is completed.
