Stainless Steel Perimeter

Pool Gutter Systems

Natare stainless steel perimeter pool gutter systems are pre-engineered, self-contained overflow gutters that combine gutter and plumbing functions into a single integrated profile.

Natare’s Integrity™ Perimeter Gutter Series

These systems are part of Natare’s Integrity™ Perimeter Gutter Series and are designed to provide continuous surface skimming, efficient water return, and long-term durability in commercial aquatic environments.

While often integrated into Natare stainless steel pool systems, these gutter systems can also be installed in concrete pools and other pool construction types for both new construction and renovation projects.

Built-In Trough and Self-Contained Water Return

Natare Gutter System (4)-Mod

A defining feature of Natare gutter systems is the built-in stainless steel trough.

The trough is formed directly into the gutter profile and incorporates:

  • Pressurized filtered water return
  • Integrated inlets
  • Continuous perimeter overflow

Because the plumbing and water return are built into the gutter itself, no additional buried perimeter supply piping is required.

This design provides the following.

  • Continuous surface skimming around the entire pool
  • Elimination of buried piping and associated leak risks
  • Reduced maintenance caused by ground movement or settling
  • Fewer potential failure points
  • Long-term watertight performance

Unlike conventional tile or concrete gutters, stainless steel eliminates cracking and reduces repair costs caused by deterioration or leaking pipes.

Natare Weir

Automatic Surge Control Weirs

Natare gutter systems are available with automatic surge control weirs.

This feature helps manage water displacement caused by swimmer activity and eliminates the need for a separate external surge tank.

Automatic surge control weirs provide:

  • Stable water levels during peak bather loads
  • Reduced risk of overflow or excessive drawdown
  • Improved hydraulic balance
  • More predictable system performance

For many facilities, this is a primary reason for selecting Natare perimeter gutter systems.

Standard Configurations

The Integrity™ Perimeter Series is available in multiple configurations:

  • Deck Level (Roll Out)
  • Semi-Recessed
  • Fully Recessed

Each configuration is manufactured to be smooth and level around the entire pool perimeter.

Integrated GPM™ Grating

All Natare perimeter gutter systems are supplied with custom-fabricated GPM™ marine-grade polymer grating.
Its permanently machined flow-control slots allow fast water flow into the gutter trough while maintaining a safe walking surface.

GPM™ grating is:

Slip-Resistant
Chemically Resistant
UV Stabilized
Durable under Heavy Use
