Why should we choose stainless steel over concrete or gunite?
There are many advantages to choosing a stainless steel over concrete or gunite. First, a Natare stainless steel pool offers a completely welded stainless steel pool shell. This means it won’t leak. When building a pool on the roof, amenity deck or high-rise floor, it is invaluable to know your pool will not leak below into the livable units/areas. Stainless steel pools are also incredibly lightweight compared to traditional materials. In fact, they can weigh up to 9/10s less the weight than concrete or gunite. Finally, a stainless steel pool can be delivered in multiple ways to the project site included a fully-built, sectionalized, or even stick-built.
Typically, a Natare stainless steel elevated pool is built upon structural beams 4’ o.c. or a concrete slab. We can build a pool in a concrete vault, but it is not required.
Are your products ideal for renovation or new construction?
Both. Any of our systems and equipment can be used for renovation or new construction. Many of our systems including the Natatec Membrane System provide a cost effective, low maintenance solution and help prolong the life of the aquatic facility. In addition, our pool bulkheads are great for accommodating multiple programming activities.
Yes. Natare builds equipment, systems, and services for commercial swimming pools, aquatic facilities, and water features. However, we also work with individuals on high-end residential projects.
Yes. In fact, we install our PVC membrane systems in multiple residential projects every year. While it is made specifically for commercial pools, we do have some residential clients who prefer this method over traditional vinyl liners.
Yes. Please see our PVC Pool Lining page for all colors and patterns.
We offer a 10-15 year warranty on the integrity of our PVC membrane system. However, when properly maintained, we have seen many cases where our system lasted 15+ years.
Traditional underwater windows are fabricated with a stainless steel frame and tempered glass. They can be installed up to a certain size and depth. Acrylic panels can be customized to virtually any size, shape and can be installed in many different applications.
No. The pool must be full of water to move a Natare bulkhead.
Yes, we can build a bulkhead for a pool not intended to be moved. It can help with dividing a large pool, or simply a walking surface to create more pool deck in a certain area.
It can be customized to fit many different applications.
